Arrival and your stay
When can I check in and when do I need to check out?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 10:00. You can arrive any day from Monday to Saturday.
How long is the minimum stay?
The minimum stay is 3 nights. Exceptions are possible on request, so do just ask us.
When will I receive my arrival information?
7 to 14 days before you arrive, you will receive an email with everything you need to know about check-in and check-out.
How do I get to Waldsee Rieden by car?
On the A61, take exit 33 Wehr/Nürburgring, follow the B412 towards the Nürburgring and leave at the Wehr/Rieden exit. Continue via Rieden/Weibern onto the L114, turn left towards Rieden onto the K64, then follow the K19 along Brohltalstraße and Nettetalstraße. After Opel Weidenbach, the K19 runs into Waldseestraße and takes you straight to Waldsee Rieden.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a one-off 100,00 Euro. It is due with the final payment before you arrive and is refunded to the original payment method within 2 to 4 weeks of departure.

Do babies and children cost extra?
Babies stay free of charge.
Is there a cot?
Yes. The cot comes with a fitted mattress. Please bring your own cot bed linen.
Is there a high chair?
Yes. We provide a cot and a high chair free of charge for the whole of your stay. If you are travelling with two babies, we will put out two high chairs and two cots.
Holidays with your dog
Are dogs allowed and do they cost extra?
Dogs stay free of charge. Up to two dogs are welcome.
Is the property fenced?
Yes. A fence runs around the generous terrace and the adjoining area of each home. You can reach the terrace from the living and dining area or through a separate entrance.
Can my dog come to the restaurant?
Yes, dogs are very welcome at the lakeside restaurant and at the pizzeria.
Can dogs swim in the bathing lake?
No. Dogs are not allowed to swim in bathing lakes in Rhineland-Palatinate. At the Riedener Waldsee they are also kept out of the designated bathing area and lawn all year round. Your dog can, however, splash about in the streams running to and from the lake and in the rivers nearby.
Where can I walk my dog?
Dogs are allowed on the path around the lake on the lead, but not in the bathing area and on the lawn. The forest is also about two minutes away, with forest tracks and the well-known Traumpfade trails for strolls and longer walks.

Where can I do my shopping?
In Rieden you will find the Bäckerei Hilger bakery at Oberstraße 25 and the Metzgerei Rausch butcher at Kirchstraße 58. Larger supermarkets are in Weibern (LIDL, Bahnhofstraße 98), Kempenich (EDEKA, Burgstraße 4) and Mayen (Kaufland, Koblenzer Straße 176, and REWE, Habsburgring 74).
Which restaurants are nearby?
The Eifeler Seehütte at Dr. Georg Klinkhammer Weg 1 and the Al Lago Restaurant & Pizza at Waldseestraße 1a are both within walking distance. A little further away is the Hotel Forsthaus at Nettestraße 12 in Riedener Mühlen.
Can I charge my electric car?
Yes, every home has its own EV charging point.
Is smoking allowed inside the house?
No, smoking is not permitted in the homes.
